Police are investigating the robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Thirroul last night (Saturday 13 July 2013).

About 6.40pm, a 17-year-old female delivery driver arrived at a Princes Highway, Thirroul address, to deliver a pizza.

Two men allegedly approached the delivery vehicle and banged on the windows, before they both walked away.

One of the men is described as being in his late teens or early twenties, of thin build, wearing a dark hooded jumper and prescription glasses.

The other man is described as being in his late twenties, with stubble on his face and wearing a tee-shirt.

The 17-year-old girl got out of the car to deliver a pizza, when she was allegedly pushed up against the car by another man, who demanded money.

She gave him the money, and the man ran away onto Pass Avenue.

He is described as being 188cm tall, of medium build, wearing a grey jumper and long pants.

Officers from Wollongong Local Area Command were called and commenced an investigation.

 

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact police.
