Police are appealing for information into a robbery and are hoping someone might recognise a bag used during the incident.

About 10pm on Wednesday 8 May 2013, a 59-year-old female employee of a club on Greta Street, Woonona, closed and locked the doors, when a man smashed the front windows with a sledge hammer.

He entered the club and demanded money. The employee gave him cash and the man left.

Police from Wollongong Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

The alleged offender is described as 5’7” tall, thin build, aged in his early twenties, wearing a light coloured long-sleeved jumper, blue jeans, and white joggers. He was carrying a grey and black shopping bag.
