Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Penshurst this morning.

About 1.35am today (Wednesday 24 July 2013), two men entered a service station on Forest Road, Penshurst, and threatened an employee with a knife.

The men demanded money and then ran from the area.

Police were called to the scene and a crime scene was established shortly after.

There were no injuries.

Police also conducted a patrol of the area; however they were not able to locate the offenders.

Officers continue to investigate the incident and would like to speak to two men in relation to the incident.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall and wearing dark clothing.

The second man is also described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall and wearing dark clothing.

Both men are described as being aged in their 20s
