Police are appealing for information after a supermarket in Sydney’s south west was held up.
About 8.20pm today (Thursday 8 August 2013), three men who had their faces concealed, entered a grocery store on Haldon Street, Lakemba, while the store was open for business.
The men told staff they had a firearm, and demanded money.
They took an amount of cash from the till and left the shop.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Police from Campsie Local Area Command were notified and arrived a short time later, securing a crime scene that was examined by forensic specialists.
They are investigating the incident and would like to speak to three men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first man is described as being about 183cm tall, and was wearing a dark grey hooded jumper, black track pants and white sneakers.
The second man was wearing a light coloured long-sleeved top, grey track pants with a black stripe on the side and black joggers.
The third man was wearing a grey hooded jumper with red and white motif on front, and black and grey runners.
