Police are investigating a series of armed robberies at bottle shops at Acacia Ridge, Waterford and Beenleigh last night.

Around 8.00pm two men drove into the drive through bottle shop of a hotel in Albert Street, Waterford in a stolen blue Nissan Navara dual cab utility. The passenger alighted the vehicle and threatened the attendant with a metal bar before the pair drove off with cash and alcohol.

Around 9.45pm the same vehicle drove into the drive through bottle shop of a hotel in George Street, Beenleigh. One of the men threatened the attendant with a metal bar before the pair fled in the vehicle with cash.

Around 10.20pm the vehicle drove into the drive through bottle shop of a hotel in Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge. Both men alighted the vehicle and threatened the attendant with a metal bar while attempting to steal alcohol. The attendant confronted the men causing them to drop the alcohol before fleeing and driving off.

The men were wearing hooded jumpers with their faces covered.
