ACT Policing is investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred at the Yarralumla shops this morning (Thursday, August 15).

Around 6.30am a man wearing a balaclava entered the Beess & Co cafe and threatened staff members with a weapon.

He tied up the three staff members and took a sum of cash.

He left through the back door of the premises and ran towards Novar St.

The offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, slim build approximately 6’ (183cm) tall and aged in his 30s. He was wearing dark clothing, light coloured sneakers and a balaclava.
