Police are investigating after an Ashmore fast food store was robbed by two men this evening.

Around 8.50pm two men entered the Cotlew Street business armed with a metal bar and a knife. The men threatened the attendant and demanded money.

After taking cash the two men then ran from the store.

The attendant, a 20-year-old man, was not physically injured.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall and was wearing a black hooded jumper with the hood up, dark coloured shorts, black gloves and a balaclava.

The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 190cm tall and was wearing a light blue coloured hooded jumper with the hood up and a balaclava.
