A man has been charged following the alleged attempted armed robbery of a bottle shop in Toowoomba last night.
Around 8.45pm three males have approached the counter of the Anzac Avenue bottle shop before allegedly threatening the attendant with knives while making demands for money.
The attendant refused and the three fled on foot empty handed.
A 19-year-old Toowoomba man was located a short time later and has been charged with attempted armed robbery and is due to appear before the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.
Police investigations are continuing.
