Police have charged two men following an attempted armed robbery of a general store on Jubilee Road at Carters Ridge.
About 5pm yesterday a man armed with a knife and wearing a balaclava approached a female employee and demanded money.
The employee fled the store and the man left empty handed. There were no injuries.
Two men were later arrested on the Sunshine Coast.
A 46-year-old man has been charged with attempted robbery while threatening violence.
A 27-year-old man has been charged with attempted robbery while threatening violence; two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle; and one count of stealing.
