Police are appealing for information after the armed robbery of a bottle shop in Sydney’s west this week.

Just before 8pm on Tuesday 20 August 2013, three men entered the business, which is located within a shopping centre on Dunheved Road.

Police have been told one of the men approached the counter, while a second prevented the automatic doors from closing, and the third brandished a firearm.

The first man told the two female staff members to empty the cash registers.

The men then left the shop with an amount of cash and bottles of alcohol.

They were last seen running towards a laneway attached to the shopping-centre car park.

Police attended and established a crime scene.

Officers and a police dog searched the area, but did not locate the men.

Detectives from St Marys Local Area Command are continuing investigations into the robbery, and would like to speak with three men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first man is described as being 175 to 180cm tall and with a slim build. At the time, this man was wearing a light-coloured hooded jacket and a dark-coloured tracksuit.

The second is described as being 175 to 180cm tall light. He was wearing a coloured jumper, a balaclava, and dark-coloured track pants with stripe down the side.

The third man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance. He was wearing a light-coloured hooded jumper, a balaclava, dark-coloured tracksuit pants and joggers.
