Police are appealing for information after a service station was robbed in Blacktown last night.

About 10.40pm (Friday 23 August 2013), a man entered the service station on Sunnyholt Road, and threatened the attendant.

The man demanded cash and the attendant handed it over, and the man ran from the premises.

Police from Blacktown Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

A crime scene was established and forensic specialists examined it.

The man was described to police as having a slim build, around 20 years-old, and was wearing a grey coloured hooded jumper, black track pants and black shoes.
