Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station in South Grafton yesterday.
Shortly after 4.30am (Sunday 1 September 2013), police responded to reports the Skinner Street business had been robbed by three men.

Officers were told one of the men was armed with a knife and another with sticks.

The men allegedly threatened and assaulted the male cashier before fleeing the premises with cash and cigarettes. They left in the cashier’s car.

Emergency services attended. Ambulance Paramedics treated the cashier at the scene for injuries to his face and head.

Police from Grafton have commenced an investigation.
