Police are investigating after a Redbank Plains service station was robbed early this morning.

Around 3.40am a man forced his way through the front doors of the service station on the corner of Kruger Parade and Henty Drive and poured fuel on the counter while demanding money.

The female attendant sought refuge in the store while the offender stole an amount of cash.

The attendant was not injured in the incident.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180cms tall with a solid build and aged between 25 and 30-years-old. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper with a black motif on the front and shoulders, blue jeans and yellow running shoes.
