3 September 2013 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Marsden

Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a service station at Marsden overnight.
Around 10.55pm, a man has entered the Bumstead Road premises and approached the counter.
The man then produced a knife and made demands for money.
When the store attendant called for another person who was in the store, the offender fled the store empty-handed.
The offender was last seen running in a northerly direction towards a nearby shopping centre.
Investigations are continuing.
