8 September 2013 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Yeronga

Police are investigating after a man armed with a knife tried to rob a Yeronga convenience store this morning.
Preliminary information suggests the man entered the School Road business shortly after 9.30 and threatened a male employee while demanding cash.
The man fled on foot, empty handed, when the attendant refused to hand over any money.
The man is described as Caucasian with a tanned complexion, approximately 165cms tall with a slim build and short brown hair. He was wearing a dark grey jacket, long dark track suit pants with white stripes.
No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
