Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery at Mascot. Shortly before 9.30pm yesterday (Saturday 14 September 2013), two men armed with a firearm entered a hotel on Bourke Road. They threatened staff behind the reception desk and demanded cash. The men took an amount of cash before fleeing. A crime scene was established and examined by investigators. One of the males has been described as having a large build. He was wearing a black jacket, red hood, black tracksuit pants, black gloves and white sneakers. The other man has been described as having a slim to medium build. He was wearing a blue hooded jacket, black tracksuit pants, white gloves and white sneakers.
