Police are appealing for information following an attempted aggravated armed robbery in Kirrawee yesterday.

About 7.30pm (Sunday 15 September 2013), a 52-year-old woman was working at a convenience store on Acacia Road, when two men entered.

The woman went to serve the men, when one took out a knife, allegedly pushing it towards the woman and demanding money from the cash register.

The woman told the men a camera was located in the shop.

The men fled without taking anything. They were seen driving away in a black Holden Commodore ute, parked a short distance away on Acacia Road.

Police were called and a crime scene was established.

Both men are described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, with a medium build and tanned skin.

One man is described as being approximately 165-175cm tall with a small ‘goatee’, and was wearing a black hooded jumper covering his face, dark pants and a dark baseball cap.

The second man is described as being approximately 178-185cm tall and was wearing a white hooded jumper, a grey jacket with two thick stripes on the arms, dark blue jeans and a dark baseball cap.
