Police are investigating the attempted robbery of a taxi driver in Dalby earlier today.
Around 2:45am, two males entered the taxi on Matheson Street, restraining the driver whilst demanding money and attempting to steal a cash box from him.
The two males fled the vehicle empty handed as the 65-year-old driver managed to drive from the scene unharmed.
The males are described as being aged in their late teens and were wearing black hooded jumpers with the hoods pulled over their heads. The front male passenger is described as being 177cms with fair skin and skinny build and light brown/blonde hair.
