ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the offender involved in an attempted aggravated robbery early yesterday morning (Sunday, September 22).

About 1.30am a man entered the Spence 7-Eleven armed with knife and threatened the staff member.

The staff member retreated to a storage room while the man reached through the security wiring attempting to open the cash register.

The man was unsuccessful in his attempt to open the cash register and fled the store empty handed.

The man can be described as Caucasian, with a solid build.  At the time of the incident he was wearing a grey ‘hoodie’ and camouflage shorts.
