1 October 2013 – Armed Robbery – Bendigo Bank – Newton

Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Bendigo Bank at Newton this morning. Just before 10.45am, a man wearing mask and armed with a tomahawk threatened staff at the Bendigo Bank on Montacute Road. He fled with cash as a pillion passenger on a waiting red motorcycle ridden by another man which was last seen travelling west on Montacute Road.
