Police are investigating the armed robbery of a petrol station at Rossmore last night.
About 9pm, Friday 4 October 2013, two men wearing scarves over their faces entered the petrol station on Bringelly Road.
One man remained by the door while another who was armed with a pistol approached the counter and threatened the console operator.
He demanded and was handed an amount of cash.
Both men ran from the store in a westerly direction and were seen to get into a dark-coloured sedan.
Police from Green Valley Local Area Command were called and attended the petrol station.
A search of the area was conducted with the assistance of the Dog Squad and Polair but the men were unable to be located.
Detectives are now investigating the robbery and are looking for two men who have been described as Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, with large builds and wearing black scarves.
