Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a fast food outlet in Fairfield East overnight.
About 10pm (Saturday 5 October 2013), two men entered the Fairfield Street outlet armed with a firearm.
The pair threatened staff members and demanded cash, before fleeing the location. They were last seen running south along Woodville Road.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police from Fairfield Local Area Command were called and launched an investigation.
A crime scene was established at the location and examined by specialist forensic officers.
The Dog Squad and PolAir also assisted officers with an extensive search of the surrounding area; however the men were not located.
Detectives would now like to speak to two men who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first man is described as having a solid build and was last seen wearing a white and light-grey hooded jumper, dark grey track pants and white sneakers.
The second man was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black track pants with three white stripes down the side, with white sneakers and grey gloves.
