Police investigating two armed robberies at Goodna are appealing for anyone who noticed anything suspicious around the Ellerton Drive area at Wacol this morning to contact them.

Police are specifically interested in anyone seen acting suspiciously around the Wolston Park Golf Club on Ellerton Drive, or anyone that may have noticed any suspicious property being dumped there this morning.

Police are continuing investigations into two armed robberies overnight in Queen Street and Brisbane Terrace at Goodna.

Around 9.40pm last night a man approached a Queen Street business with a shotgun, threatened a staff member and a member of the public.  He attempted to gain entry to the business and fled without success.

A short time later a man with similar description entered a Brisbane Terrace licenced premises with a shotgun, threatened staff and patrons demanding cash. The man assaulted two patrons and fled on foot with an amount of cash.  Two patrons were treated for head injuries.
