Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a convenience store in Torquay yesterday afternoon.
Around 5.40pm a man entered the Bideford Street store armed with a knife and demanded money from the attendant. The attendant declined and the man fled empty handed.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his early 20s, approximately 165cms tall with a slim build. He was wearing a white hooded jumper, black shorts and black and white things. He was also wearing a dark coloured cap under the hood.
