Police are appealing for information following the armed robbery of a service station in the Shoalhaven area.
About 9.40pm yesterday (Saturday 26 October 2013), a man, described as being only of Caucasian appearance, entered the petrol station on the Princes Highway, Bomaderry, armed with a pistol
The man, who had his face concealed, threatened the male staff member with the gun and demanded cash.
He then ran from the store with money from the till, and police were alerted.
The employee was not injured during the incident.
Officers from Shoalhaven Local Area Command attended a short time later and secured a crime scene that was examined by forensic specialists.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
