Police have arrested a man after he allegedly robbed a service station on Main North Road, Blakeview. Just after 7.30pm a man allegedly threatened staff with a hammer and demanded money from the attendant, the robber then left with an amount of cash. Police searched the nearby area and located a 20-year-old Smithfield man who matched the description of the offender. He was taken to the Elizabeth Police Station and charged with aggravated robbery, his bail has been refused and he will appear before the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow. There have been no reported physical injuries and no other reports of theft in the area, and it does not appear to be linked with the earlier robbery of a Seaford or Rosewater service stations. – See more at: http://www.sapolicenews.com.au/more-news/18485-blakeview-service-station-robbed.html#sthash.b4YXRSso.dpuf
