Dutton Park detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a Buranda convenience store that occurred on October 13.
Around 2.20pm, a man entered the Ipswich Road store, approached the attendant and made demands for cash. The man lifted his shirt revealing the handle of what is believed to be a knife.
The man grabbed cash and a quantity of tobacco before fleeing the store on foot.
He was last seen running in the direction of Cornwall Street.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid 30s, about 183cm tall with a heavy build and short brown hair.
It is believed he had an ‘A’ symbol shaved into the back of his head similar to the one pictured.
He was last seen wearing a black and red long sleeved shirt and dark trousers.
