23 October 2013 – Armed Robbery – Convenience Store – Capalaba

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning in Capalaba.
Around 8.40am, a man has entered a convenience store on Redland Bay Road .
He produced what appeared to be a firearm and demanded cash from the female attendant.
The attendant has complied and handed the man a sum of cash. The man was last seen on foot on Coolong Street.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
The man is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, in his 30s and of a solid build.
He was last seen wearing dark blue denim shorts, a black hooded jumper, a white t-shirt and was wearing dark sunglasses.
Investigations are continuing.
