25 October 2013 – Armed Robbery – Hotel – Rockhampton

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a hotel on Lakes Creek Road, North Rockhampton last night.
Initial investigations indicate that around 8.45pm a man entered the bottle shop area of the hotel; where armed with a knife, he demanded money from the attendant.
He then left the hotel on-foot with a sum of cash, and was last seen heading into bush land opposite the hotel.
He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, with a black cloth covering his face.
No-one was injured during the incident and police dog handler and dog later recovered a sum of money.
Investigations are continuing.
