6 November 2013 – Armed Robbery – Bank – Coolangatta

Police are investigating and attempted armed robbery that occurred this afternoon in Coolangatta.
Around 4.40pm, a man entered a bank on Griffith Street armed with a knife and demanded money from the teller.
The teller didn’t comply, and the man then left the business on foot.
No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his 30s and was around 180cms tall, of a medium build and had dark hair.
Investigations are continuing.
