Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery.
About 9.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 12 November 2013), a man armed with a golf club entered a service station on Dandaloo Street, Narromine.
The offender threatened a male employee and demanded money.
The employee fled the store and the offender grabbed a cash register before also running from the store.
He was last seen running north toward Macquarie River.
Police were alerted to the incident and a crime scene was established and forensically examined.
Investigations into the incident continue and police are appealing for information from the public.
In particular, police would like to speak to a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries into the incident.
He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 20-25 years old and 165-170cm tall. He may be wearing a black bandana and jacket.
