Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at a petrol station in Guildford early this morning.

About 12:25 am (Tuesday 19 November 2013), three men entered a petrol station on Guildford Road, Guildford, and approached the 24-year-old male employee.

The men, wearing dark colours and with their faces hidden, were armed with a rifle, baseball bat, and screwdriver.

They threatened the employee and demanded money; they left with a sum of cash and cigarettes.

The three men then drove away in a Holden utility.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Officers from the Rosehill Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or any suspicious behaviour around the time to contact police.
