Police are investigating an armed robbery at an Ashgrove supermarket this evening.
At 7.35pm, a man entered the Harry Street store, approached the checkout and produced a handgun while making demands for money.
He left the premises with a sum of cash.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 175cm tall with a slim build, aged in his mid 20s.
