Police have released CCTV images of a person they believe can assist with their inquiries into an armed robbery at Beresfield in October this year.

About 9am on Sunday 27 October 2013, a man armed with a firearm entered a bowling club on Anderson Drive, Beresfield, threatened an employee and demanded money.

The employee handed the man cash and he fled the club.

Detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad have been investigating the robbery under Strike Force Tirril and are appealing for assistance from the public.

They have released CCTV images of a person they believe can assist with their inquiries into the matter.

The person in the CCTV is described as being a male of Caucasian appearance, about 183cm tall with an athletic build, stubble on his face and a nose ring.

He is depicted wearing a grey-coloured top, dark-coloured pants, a white hat and black sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the incident or who recognises the person depicted in the CCTV is asked to come forward.
