Police have charged three men following two armed robberies in the Cairns area last month.

Police will allege that three men entered a convenience store on Pease Street on November 30 in Edge Hill, produced a knife and stole a sum of cash.

It will further be alleged that three men entered a fast food store on Supply Road on November 16 in Bentley Park, produced a knife and left with a sum of cash.

A 21-year-old Manunda man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery.

A 22-year-old Bungalow man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery.

A 19-year-old Manunda man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery.

All three men are due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on December 2.

Investigations are continuing.
