Police are investigating after a man attempted to rob a service station at Woodridge last night.
Around 9.55pm a man walked up to the locked doors of the Compton Road business and indicated he wanted to enter. The male attendant signaled for the man to remove a motorcycle helmet at which point the man produced a handgun.
The attendant immediately sought refuge in a rear area of the store with the man running off after he was unable to gain entry.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian, 170cm tall, of average build and was wearing a grey hooded jumper, grey jeans, white shoes, gloves and a motorcycle helmet.
