Police have charged a 37-year-old man following investigations into the armed robbery of a Morayfield supermarket that occurred on November 30.

It will be alleged that around 5.30pm, a man armed with a handgun entered the Glenmay Court supermarket and threatened two female employees before fleeing the store with a sum of money.

The 37-year-old Morayfield man was charged with one count each of armed robbery, enter premises and commit indictable offence, possess utensils or pipes, and fail to properly dispose of needle or syringe.

He is due to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
