ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the 7-Eleven Service Station in Melba last night (Sunday, December 8).
Around 10pm, a man entered the service station on Chinner Street, armed with a large kitchen knife and threatened an employee making demands for cash and cigarettes.
The employee handing over a sum of cash and cigarettes before the man fled the store. He was last seen running towards Kingsford Smith Drive.
The man is described as 180cm (5’11”) tall with a slim build. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black ‘hoodie’ with the hood pulled over his head, purple t-shirt, black shorts and black shoes.
