Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred earlier this morning in Harristown, Toowoomba.

At around 4.20am, a man entered a service station on West Street, where he produced a knife and made demands for cash.

The attendant complied and gave the man a sum of cash. He then fled the scene on-foot and was last seen on West Street.

The attendant wasn’t physically injured as a result.

The man was seen wearing a black hooded-jumper, black pants and running shoes.

Investigations are continuing.
