Mount Isa detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Mt Isa last night.

Around 10.45pm two men entered the service station on the Barkly Highway armed with knives and

demanded money and cigarettes.

The 41 year-old female attendant complied and the men left with cash and cigarettes.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The first man is believed to be 30-40 years of age, wearing a ski mask, sunglasses and mainly

green clothing.

The second man was wearing a black and white striped beanie a dark colored bandana, gloves and

mainly green colored clothing.

Investigations are continuing.
