15 January 2014 – Armed Robbery – Bowls Club – Bulimba

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Bulimba this afternoon.
Around 2.45pm, two men have entered a bowls club on Quinn Street and produced a knife and a metal pole and have jumped over the bar and threatened the attendant.
The men have made demands for cash and the attendant has handed them a sum of cash before they have fled the business.
No one was injured as a result of the robbery.
The men are described as being Pacific Islander in appearance and were last seen wearing dark clothing.
Investigations are continuing.
