A 28-year-old man has been charged over the attempted armed robbery and assault of a woman in a fish and chip shop at Palm Beach on January 12, 2014.
The man from Palm Beach has been charged with attempted armed robbery and is due to face the Southport Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
