Police are investigating after a hotel was robbed at Cannon Hill last night.
Around 10.15pm two men entered the Southgate Avenue premises, one armed with a knife, the other a piece of wood.
The man armed with the knife jumped over the bar and threatened staff, demanding cash and forcing them into an office area.
The other man threatened two patrons, striking one on the ankle with the piece of wood, forcing them to another area of the premises.
After taking cash the two men left the premises and escaped in a dark coloured car. They were last seen heading north on Southgate Avenue.
One patron received a minor injury to his ankle.
No one else was physically harmed during the robbery.
The first man is described as having a dark complexion and was of thin build. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark trousers and gloves.
The second man is described as wearing a black hooded jumper, grey trousers and blue shoes.
