Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a Service Station in Broadview early this morning. At about 4.15am two men, one armed with a large knife and a screwdriver, the other armed with a screwdriver, entered the BP on the Run on Hampstead Road, threatened staff and demanded cash and cigarettes. A third man, armed with a firearm, waited outside. The suspects fled with cash and cigarettes and were last seen running down Alfred Street, Broadview. No one was physically injured.All suspects are described as men with an Aboriginal appearance, aged in their mid 20’s and all wearing dark hooded jumpers. One suspect is approximately 185cm tall, medium build with short dark hair. The second suspect is described as approximately 165cm tall with a goatee beard.
