24 January 2014 – Armed Robbery – Service Station – Warana

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred earlier today in Warana.
Shortly before 12.10am, a man has entered a service station that is on Kawana Island Boulevard and produced a firearm.
He demanded money from the attendant, but the attendant has left the store and the man has then taken a quantity of cigarettes.
The attendant wasn’t injured as a result of the robbery.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his 30s and was around 176cms tall with a proportionate build.
He was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, black shorts, a black cap and black shoes.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
