A man armed with a machete threatened staff at a Slacks Creek post office this afternoon before fleeing with a sum of cash.
The man, who was wearing a long sleeve shirt, hi visibility vest and had his head covered with a piece of material, entered the Kingston Road business around 5pm.
No one was physically injured and police investigations are continuing.
