Police have charged two men following investigations into four armed robberies at the same Kedron hotel in the past four months.
It will be alleged on October 6, 19 and 25 last year and January 29, a man entered the hotel on Kedron Park Road and threatened staff with what appeared to be a firearm.
On each occasion, except on October 19, he allegedly stole a sum of cash during the robbery.
A 22-year-old Brassall man was charged with three counts each of armed robbery and enter a premises and commit an indictable offence, four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, eight counts of stealing and one count each of attempted armed robbery and receiving tainted property. He is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
A 38-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged with three counts of armed robbery, two counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and fraud and one count each of attempted armed robbery, stealing and receiving tainted property. He appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court yesterday and will reappear on February 26.
