Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at a service station in Mount Pritchard today (Saturday 8 February 2014).
About 2am, a man entered the shop on Elizabeth Street threatened the attendant, a 20-year-old man, with a firearm, demanding cash and cigarettes.
The attendant complied and handed over a sum of cash and cigarettes.
As the man ran from the shop he grabbed a few packets of condoms, before fleeing.
Officers from Cabramatta Local Area Command and specialist forensic services attended commencing an investigation.
The man was described to police as Caucasian appearance, aged mid 20’s, about 170cm tall, wearing a black long sleeved t-shirt, dark shorts, a black beanie and runners.
