Police have released images of two men they would like to speak to after an armed robbery at Deniliquin last night.

About 8.40pm (Sunday 9 February 2014), the 62-year-old female attendant, was at the counter of a service station on Victoria Street, when two men entered the shop.

One of the men approached the counter, grabbed the attendant’s shirt and threatened her with a knife, demanding cash.

The woman received minor cuts to her thumb and handed over a sum of cash.

The man grabbed cigarettes and the two men fled from the shop.

Police were contacted Deniliquin Local Area Command and specialist forensic officers attended commencing an investigation.

The woman was taken to Deniliquin Hospital for treatment to the cuts.

Police would like to speak to two men that may be able to assist with inquiries.

One of the men is described as Caucasian appearance, black hair, about 160cm tall, large build, wearing a white shirt with an emblem on the front.

The second man is described as Caucasian appearance wearing a red hooded jacket.
