Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Mascot this morning.
About 3.15am (Wednesday 12 February 2014), two men entered a fast food restaurant on General Holmes Drive armed with a knife and crowbar and threatened three staff members, demanding money.
They fled the scene with cash a short time later.
Police were called and a crime scene was established
Detectives from Botany Bay Local Area Command are appealing for information in an effort to locate two men believed to have been involved in the incident.
The first man is described as being of solid build and was wearing a grey jumper with a black stripe on the sleeves, dark tracksuit pants, white running shoes and yellow gloves.
The second man is described as being of solid build and was wearing a light green hooded jumper with the number ‘60’ on the back, dark track pants, dark shoes and grey gloves.
Witnesses who may have seen a white car, believed to be a VW Golf, around the area at the time of the incident are also encouraged to come forward.
